Vacation Bible School in New Jalukie concludes

[caption id="attachment_195898" align="aligncenter" width="500"] Tots of Elohim Rongmei Baptist Church during the Vacation Bible School in New Jalukie.[/caption] Dimapur, July 18 (EMN): Elohim Rongmei Baptist Church, New Jalukie, has conducted its 20th Vacation Bible School (VBS) from July 9 to 15 on the theme “Get connected” (Ephesians 2:19). The week-long bible school was held with the direc tor of Christian education department, Aphun Gonmei, as the VBS Director. Altogether 213 students along with 19 VBS teaching staff including music team, church volunteers, VBS committee members, and women department have participated in the camp. The participants were divided into six different classes namely pre-beginners, beginners, primary, juniors, intermediate and seniors. During the event, each day was set aside as a special days such as day of cleanliness and beauty, day of labour, children’s day, day of giving, teacher’s day and day of witnessing, Tiffin day and day of recreation, and finally concluded with love feast day. During the week, children learned lessons from bible stories. On the final day, Jaogailung Gangmei, RBCA youth secretary, exhorted the children on the theme. Hugiak Gonmei, secretary of VBS committee, has thanked all the staff, church council, departments under the church, volunteers, VBS Matung Phwam, catering team, donors, contributors in cash and kind, VBS committee members for the service rendered in making the programme a grand success.
