DIMAPUR — Having observed irregularities in office attendance and service delivery, the United Sangtam Students’ Conference (USSC) has directed all the head of departments (HoD) and subordinate staff under Kiphire headquarters and Longkhim sub-headquarters to strictly remain in their respective place of posting.
The union has urged all the concerned government officials to ensure smooth delivery of services with utmost sincerity and avoid administrative inconveniences to the public. Affirming its commitment to ensure justice and accountability, the union has decided to conduct surprise inspections at any time. It warned that any government officials or sub-ordinate staff found absent without authorisation or any detection of irregularities in their duties would be dealt with seriously.
USSC urged the administration to functions effectively for the welfare of the student community and the public. It has assured full support and cooperation towards any initiative undertaken in the interest and welfare of the people and student community at large.
