DIMAPUR — A three-day mission conference of the United Sangtam Baptist Lithro Ashimükhong (USBLA) concluded on Wednesday in Seyochung village under Kiphire district.

An update from USBLA stated that the conference held on the theme “Maxa la Trümta” (Partnership in harvest) brought together 482 delegates from 68 churches and associate churches under USBLA.

Speaking at the concluding programme, Rev. Y Imtiba, USBLA executive secretary, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming response stating that it was the fourth mega conference held under USBLA with the highest attendance ever. He emphasised the importance of partnership in spreading the gospel globally and encouraged more participation in future events.

Athrongse Y Thonger, USBLA secretary of church and mission, highlighted the significance of the conference in igniting the mission spirit among Sangtam churches. He thanked God for the continuous growth and urged churches to persevere in their mission endeavours.

It mentioned that USBLA currently is supporting eleven missionaries in various locations with three additional missionaries installed during the conference. It stated that there was a pressing need for more Sangtam individuals to step forward for missionary service.

Meanwhile, R Akyuba, pastor of Seyochung Village Baptist Lithro, expressed gratitude for the successful conclusion of the mission conference and attributed to the mercy and grace of God and the contributions of Seyochung citizens. He extended blessings to all contributors and thanked the churches for their unwavering support.

Report stated that the conference not only served as a platform for spiritual enrichment but also reinforced the commitment of Sangtam churches to missionary work. It added that even as the event came to a close, the spirit of partnership and dedication to spreading the gospel continues to burn brightly within the Sangtam community.
