Upper Bayavii to face Lower Bayavii in T20 finals today

Kohima, Dec. 7 (EMN): Upper Bayavii Sixers and Lower Bayavii Giants won their respective semifinal match to set up a final clash at the ongoing 5th edition of 10-Northern Angami-I T20 Bash organized by Brotherhood Group at Kohima village ground, Ziekezou on Wednesday.
In the first semifinal match, Upper Bayavii Sixers beat P Khel Eagles by 6 wickets. Sixers elected to bowl and Eagles scored a total of 142/5 in 20 overs. Moni (50 not out) and Vesan (38) were the highest scorers for Eagles.
In reply, Moarenba (72 not out) helped his team enter the finals as Sixers managed to reach the target in 19.5 over losing four wickets in the process. Montu of Eagles took two wickets in four overs. Moarenba of Sixers with his half-century was adjudged as the man of the match.
In the second semifinal match, Lower Bayavii Giants beat North Block Warriors by 9 wickets to enter the final. North Block elected to bat and scored a modest score of 150/7 in 20 overs, with Dietholhoutuo (56 not out) and Renjanthung (43) contributing the highest runs for Warriors, while Thungchamo claimed three wickets in four overs for Giants.
Chasing 151, Imomemba (58 not out) and Tapitu (40 not out) helped the team to reach the target in 15.3 overs for Giants. Imomenba with his half-century was awarded the man of the match.
