UNPG/NNC dissolves government and merges with GPRN/NSCN to expedite Naga political solution.

DIMAPUR — The Office of the Ato Kilonser, United Naga People's Government/Naga National Council (UNPG/NNC), has declared the dissolution of its government and its subsequent merger with the GPRN/NSCN.
In a press release it was stated that "in order to amalgamate all Nagas and to bring about an honourable and speedy solution in line with the aspirations of the Naga people," the cabinet members of both the Civil and Naga Army wings officially dissolved the government led by President Kiviho Zhimomi and Ato Kilonser Tsaliba T Sangtam.

The statement read that they have "unanimously resolved to join and extend full affirmation and support to the GPRN/NSCN Government".
It further stated that the decision was taken to "expedite for an early Naga solution" under the leadership of Major (retd.) RM Lotha, president of GPRN/NSCN, and N Kitovi Zhimomi, ato kilonser of GPRN/NSCN and convener of the Working Committee, Naga National Political Groups (NNPG).
