Dimapur, Feb. 2 (EMN): The sports meet of Unity College of Teacher Education, Dimapur concluded on Jan. 31.
According to a statement issued by the principal of the college, indoor games were played on the opening day (Jan. 28) and outdoor games on the remaining days.
Students were divided into four houses – Red, Blue, Yellow and Green.
During the inaugural function, the administrator of UCTE said that the sports week was not only an important part of the curriculum, but also an opportunity to make new friends.
Yellow house emerged as the overall champion of the sports meet followed by the Red house in the second position and the Green house as the runners-up.
The meet culminated with an exhibition match of tug-of-war between the 2nd semester and the 4th Semester students.
