Unity College observes ‘World Day Against Sexual Exploitation’

DIMAPUR — Women Development Cell of Unity College, in collaboration with Dream Work Taekwondo Academy, observed ‘World Day of Fight Against Sexual Exploitation’ on March 4.

An update from the college stated that a self-defense training session was conducted for 6th semester female students at the college campus to mark the occasion.

It stated that the proprietor of Dream Work Taekwondo Academy, Sanjay Chetri along with instructors namely Raj Rana and Dhiraj Rai led the training session. It added that essential skills and techniques to enhance personal safety were provided along with dedicated members of the academy namely Toshimenla, Shanchobeni and Angel RT.

The training session was aimed at creating a secure and supportive environment for girl students in the society by imparting basic self-defense skills.
