Dimapur, Sep. 17 (EMN): The University Grants Commission (UGC) has invited fresh applications including renewals from regular and full-time students for Indira Gandhi PG Scholarship for Single Girl Child, PG Scholarship for University rank holder candidate, Ishan Uday Special scheme for north-eastern region, and PG scholarship for professional courses for SC/ST candidates for the academic year 2020-2021.
Eligible students from recognised institutions have been asked to submit their applications through national scholarship portal (https:// scholarships.gov.in/) as per the guidelines.
Closing date for filing online applications is October 30, while the deadline for verification of applications by institutions including re-submission of defective applications is November 15, it informed.
Students are advised to submit their online applications on time so that their institutions would be able to verify applications within the prescribed timeline.
