DIMAPUR — The U-23 Cricket Tournament 2026 concluded at the local ground in Aboi town on Saturday.
According to an update, the tournament was organised by the Cricket Association Mon District (CAMD) and hosted by the Aboi Sports Association (ASA).
The four-day tournament, held from January 21 to the 24th, witnessed participation from five teams representing different parts of Mon district.

The closing programme was attended by Yarenthung, commandant of the 11th NAP (IR) Bn., Aboi, and Wennyei Konyak, deputy commissioner of Mon and president of CAMD.
In his keynote address, Wennyei highlighted the importance of sports in youth development, character building, and district-level unity.
Earlier, the opening ceremony was attended by Langwang Angh, PA to the MLA of 47 AC Aboi and vice president of the Mon District Football Association (MDFA), as the special guest. He encouraged the players to uphold discipline, unity, and dedication through sports.
