Dimapur, Sep. 30 (EMN): While expressing displeasure over the initiative of the Dimapur Citizens’ Forum in opposition to shifting of the deputy commissioner’s office to Chümoukedima, the Tenyimi Youth Organisation Dimapur (TYOD) appealed to the forum not to hamper the government of the day from taking a development in the district.
A TYOD press release issued by its media cell stated that the decision to shift DC office from the present location and making Chümoukedima as district headquarter was not a new issue. It added that all records of memorandum of understanding (MoU) and agreements signed since the then chief minister, SC Jamir, were very clear from all aspects.
TYOD was of the view that development of the district should not be hampered just for personal gain.
