Dimapur, Oct. 18 (EMN): In its effort to secure the highways from anti-social elements, a team of Kohima Police has arrested two persons namely Tothong Tikhir, alleged ‘ss’ lance corporal from NSCN (IM) of Shamator village in Tuensang district, and Khotso Zenyü of Khonoma village in Kohima district on charges of extortion from NH-29 on October 17.
A police report issued by PRO DEF Kohima stated that one .32 pistol, one magazine along with one live ammunition were seized from their possession.
It further stated that a case has been registered at Sechü (Zubza) police station under relevant sections of law.
