HAFLONG: Two NSCN (IM) insurgents were arrested along with weapons in a joint operation of the police and army from Assam’s Dima Hasao district today.Police sources said the two cadres were nabbed from Borohaflong area of the Haflong police station area at the wee hours and a pistol, two live ammunition, four extortion money receipt notes and mobile hand sets were recovered from them.
The duo were identified as Ramkulhumbe Newme and Suirang Newme (both 29 years old).
