Two Covid-19 positive cases detected in Nagaland; tally stands at 12168

Dimapur, Feb. 10 (EMN):
Nagaland recorded two Covid-19 positive cases on Wednesday, taking the State’s tally to 12,168.

This was informed by the minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

‘Two positive cases have been detected from Kohima today (Wednesday) and three patients have recovered at Dimapur,’ he tweeted.

According to the information provided by the department of Health and Family Welfare, Nagaland currently has 87 active cases, out of which 85 are asymptomatic and two with mild symptoms. The state has recorded 11,843 recovered cases and 88 deaths, out of which 10 deaths are “not covid related”.

In terms of district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Kohima leads with 67, followed by Dimapur-18 and Peren-2, while Kiphire, Longleng, Mokokchung, Mon, Phek, Tuensang, Wokha and Zunheboto have zero active cases.
