Dimapur, Sep. 13 (EMN): Two bodies were retrieved from Dhansiri River near Purana Bazaar today at around 5 pm on September 13.

Speaking to Eastern Mirror, police officials of East Police station informed that one of the bodies was that of a 12-year-old boy who had drowned on September 11. The victim had reportedly gone swimming with a group of friends at a riverside near Naharbari where the unfortunate incident happened.

The police officials informed that another unidentified body was also retrieved from the same and the body is kept at District hospital Dimapur. However, the identity and cause of death of the second victim are yet to be ascertained.
