Niuland Police arrest two accused in petrol pump assault case involving injured employees after fuel demand was refused.

DIMAPUR — Niuland Police have arrested two persons involved in the brutal assault of two petrol pump employees on the night of January 29. The arrests were made on January 31 following a hot pursuit by police personnel.
According to Dimapur Police, the accused have been identified as Vito Chishi (25) and Inato Chishi (38), both residents of Kuhoxu village in Niuland district.
The incident occurred around 10 pm on January 29 at a fuel outlet in the Niuland area, where the employees, aged 67 and 44, were allegedly assaulted for failing to comply with the accused’s demand for fuel after the outlet had closed for the night.
Police said that both victims sustained injuries in the attack. A case has been registered against the accused, and further investigation is underway.
