Twitch bans Adriana Chechik after exclusion from Twitch Rivals event
Former adult actress and current Twitch streamer, Adriana Chechik, on Friday got her Twitch account temporarily banned from the streaming platform for unknown reasons.
The 30-year-old American is well known for her pornographic work who made her debut back in 2013. She has since retired from the adult film industry and turned to livestreaming as an alternative career in 2019. Following her retirement, she has enjoyed success in the livestream scene and has amassed nearly 800,000 followers on Twitch. She also has more than 1.3 million likes on her OnlyFans channel.
On Friday, however, Adriana Chechik’s Twitch channel was temporarily suspended without any official statement from the platform or the streamer which confused a lot of her fans.
“This channel is temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service,” the notice read on her channel.
The suspension comes shortly after the former pornstar star was denied from participating in a Twitch Rivals Fortnite event. The streamer claimed in a Livestream and social media post that Epic Games, the developer of Fortnite, did not approve of her past pornographic work.
“Last night, [Epic Games] decided not to approve me because of my adult work,” Chechik told her fans in a live stream. “So, because of my past and my adult work, I have been bumped from it. Epic Games didn’t approve of my background, but it’s fine. I’m used to this, so it’s fine.”
Yea @EpicGamesTR didn’t like my backround so next time. https://t.co/jVaTsdAP4m

However, Epic Games issued a public statement stating, “We’re so sorry this happened. The request to Twitch Rivals was to work with you to remove adult references from your stream’s background due to our game’s rating. We have no issue with you participating in events or streaming Fortnite.”
It is still unknown why Twitch decided to ban Adriana Chechik from the platform. If we recall correctly, this is her third suspension from the platform in three years. Interestingly, some of her fans on Twitter and Reddit suspect that she may have been banned for posting photo of her in a revealing outfit on Instagram.
Shortly after being removed from the Twitch Rivals Fortnite event, the former adult star took to Instagram and posted a photo of her in a see-through outfit on her story. Twitch has strict guidelines on sexually suggestive or provocative attire and therefore, it certainly seems plausible that this may have been the reason for her ban.
Either way, Twitch and Chechik has yet to issue any official statement on the issue. We just have to wait for her suspension to be over and Chechik might drop some information once she gets back on Twitch again.
