Twenty-XI FC to participate in 1st Bhutan CFC Foundation Cup

Twenty-XI FC, which was formed during April 2011 with “Go for Goal” as its motto, will be participating in the 1st Bhutan CFC Foundation Cup Football Tournament 2014. The team, which comprises of 20 enthusiastic players from Viswema will play as Ichthus Team, Nagaland at Bhutan in the ongoing tournament (March 1-16, 2014) and will be led by Team Coach, K. Khro.It may be noted here that Twenty-XI FC emerged champion of the Lt. Medosü Mark Tholre Memorial Trophy, Kidima during 2011 and Sumi Open Football Tournament 2013, apart from emerging runners-up of EU (SJC) 3rd Open Football and Volley Tournament during 2013 and 13th NSF Martyr’s Memorial Trophy, 2012 respectively. In the recent past, the team also participated in the Royal Gold Cup 2012, 4th Chizami Cup 2013, and 14th NSF Martyr’s Memorial Trophy, 2013, managing to reach the Pre-Quarter final.
The team will leave for Bhutan on March 9, 2014.
