Tuli College conducts seminar

Dimapur, March 10 (EMN): Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Tuli College in Mokokchung district organised a seminar on “Depression among youth” on March 9.

A press release from the college stated that associate pastor of Tuli Lenten Baptist Church Imliodang and residential counsellor of Grace Rehabilitation Centre, Tuli, Kilang Imsong were the resource persons.

Speaking on the occasion, Imliodang explained that the main problem of depression among youth was due to irrational thinking. Also speaking on the occasion, Kilang Imsong advised the students to seek help of clinical counsellors and elders instead of giving into substance abuse when faced with depression in life. He has further termed addiction and depression as the most dangerous situations confronting the youth.

The programme was chaired by assistant professor of Economics Chubarenla, while the college principal AK Ahmed delivered the welcome address. The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by IQAC coordinator Arennaro.
