Tuensang: Scholarship, scheme beneficiaries asked to report

Dimapur, Nov. 4 (EMN): The establishment of the district welfare officer (DWO) for Tuensang district has informed schedules for payment to IGNOAP, IGNWP, IGNDP (ACA) beneficiaries for nine months. Besides, payment of scholarship to students with disability, and visually challenged beneficiaries under the state plan for 12 months will be made in said office. (See schedule) The welfare establishment issued a press release on Sunday informing about the programme. ‘It is further informed that, the beneficiaries those who cannot come to receive the payment personally shall be required to produce a Live Certificate (sic) duly signed either by the chairman of the village council or pastor of the church and send along with payment booklet to an authorized person/relatives and village council functionary,’ the press release read. “The department shall not be held responsible if the payments are not received within the above stipulated dates,” the note, appended by DWO S Makokba Sangtam, added.
