DIMAPUR — The monthly meeting of the Tuensang district planning and development board (DPDB) was held on Friday in the conference hall of the deputy commissioner’s office in Tuensang town under the chairmanship of MLA DPDB chairman, Imtichuba.
Participating in the discussion regarding registration of societies, MLA Y Lima Onen Chang suggested the ADC to brief the society members about the government guidelines and formalities for registration of societies. He was of the opinion that only genuine societies should be forwarded to the government for approval by the house, stated a DIPR report.
The chairman informed the house that Dr. T Ao football trophy has been postponed in view of Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games 2024.
Meanwhile, the deputy commissioner of Tuensang has suggested to call a meeting with the NGOs and stakeholders to discuss on the celebration of 76th anniversary of Tuensang administrative headquarters at the earliest.
Report stated that Nagaland Khadi and Village Industries Board presented their activities and functions, while the Fishery department was entrusted to present their departmental activities in the next DPDB meeting.
