Dimapur, Dec. 1 (EMN): A review meeting on AB-PMJAY for Tuensang and Noklak districts was held at the residence of the deputy commissioner of Tuensang on December 30.
An update from the office of the chief medical officer (CMO), Tuensang, stated that the AB-PMJAY district co-ordinator Mutsoi made a power point presentation on performance of AB-PMJAY and its key features. The house also discussed on the grievances and issues during the presentation.
In the event of any problem regarding the beneficiaries identification system (BIS), the DC Kumar Ramnikant urged the members to compile and submit to the higher authority. He also suggested to rationalise more manpower to increase beneficiaries identification system (BIS) in the district.
He further suggested the members to organise special campaigns under PMJAY to disseminate awareness of the scheme and to reach out to more population as well as to register all deserving beneficiaries.
Also speaking in the meeting, the CMO Tuensang, Dr. Moatemjen, urged the members to map out the low coverage areas and focus more on them for smooth and successful implementation of the programme.
The deputy CMO, G Viholi Sema, who also chaired the meeting, has urged every block to prepare a power point on performance status of their respective block and present in the next meeting.
Besides department officials, in-charge of empanelled hospitals, district coordinator, PMAM, LDA of District hospital, programme manager (ECS) and DMO (NHM) attended the meeting.
