TTSU dismayed over delaying construction of Youth Hall
Dimapur, Jan. 3: Tobu Town Students’ Union (TTSU) has expressed disappointment to the contractor of the Youth hall under the name ‘NK Construction agency’ for delaying the construction of the Youth Hall under Tobu Sub-division, Mon district, which was started in the year 2011.
In a press note issued by TTSU president, H.Khamba and Press and Information secretary, L. Pangting, stated that in its union 31st general session, which was attended by Konyak Union (Branch Tobu), KNSK Tobu Town, TTCSA, other NGOs and student community held on December 28, decided to give 30 days for restarting the constructing from the date of publication, failing which the union will take it own course of action.
With no union office and council hall in Tobu town, TTSU said such youth hall building would have served a lot of purpose for the entire community, but surprisingly the contractor has disappeared without any reason soon after the construction started. TTSU requested all the contractors doing the construction under Tobu town to immediately finish the pending projects without delay, failing the union will be compelled to question the concerned in the office without serving further notice.
Meanwhile, the union expressed sincere gratitude to all the administrative officers headed by ADC Tobu and medical doctors posted in Tobu town for tirelessly working towards the needs and welfare of the public. The union looks forward for more such services and dedication in year head.
