Kohima, May 26 (EMN): As Nagaland University (NU) Undergraduate examinations are scheduled to begin its online examinations from May 27,  the Thenyizumi Students’ Union (TSU) have urged the network service providers under Chetheba circle in Chozuba sub-division, Phek district to provide better connectivity.

The union in a statement issued on Wednesday stated that the student community were experiencing ‘untold hardship’ because of poor internet connectivity off late amidst the ongoing online classes, which has further caused the digital divide among many students.

It pointed out that majority of the people in the area were Airtel and Jio service users, and due to poor connection, many students were missing their online classes.

In this regard the union appealed to the competent authorities to act upon the plight of the students.

Meanwhile, TSU also extended its best wishes to the students for the scheduled examination.
