Dimapur, May 20 (EMN): The deputy commissioner of Noklak, Reny Wilfred informed that a TrueNat machine has been installed at Covid-19 hospital and testing has begun adding that registration of ID is under process.
The DC stated this during the meeting of Noklak district task force (DTF) on Covid-19 held in his office’s conference hall on May 19. With regard to the essential commodities, he informed that there are enough stock to last for a month.
He further encouraged the members to motivate and create awareness among the people to get the Covid-19 vaccine.
The superintendent of police, Pritpal Kaur, requested the frontline workers to take proper precautions while taking care of the Covid-19 patients. She also urged shopkeepers not to hoard essential commodities and also suggested to continue with random sampling test in the district.
SDO (Civil) and administrator of Noklak Town Council (NTC) informed that there is no Covid-19 positive case in the district so far and requested all to continue maintaining the same. He further requested all the shopkeepers to get Covid-19 vaccination as they are more venerable to be infected.
Also speaking at the meeting, the executive secretary of KBCA, Hempao Lam, informed that the churches are ready to extend help in all possible ways in fighting the pandemic. Medical officer, Noklak, Dr. Chongya, explained in details the advantage of taking the vaccine and clarified all the doubts.
