Tripura pips Meghalaya by six-wickets

Dimapur, Nov. 9 (EMN): Tripura defeated Jammu and Kashmir by six-wickets in a Cooch Behar (U-19) Group-D match played Nagaland Cricket Stadium, Dimapur.
According to a press release from Nagaland Cricket Association, the Tripura team was set a target of 226 runs in the fourth innings. Jammu and Kashmir were bundled out for a meagre 145 in their first innings.
Tripura managed to accumulate 264 in reply, ensuring a precious lead of 119 runs. Jammu and Kashmir fared much better in the second outing – putting a second-innings total of 345. Tripura chased down the target of 226 runs on the fourth day itself, with six wickets in hand. The NCA statement thanked the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) “for allotting the match to NCA”.
