Trinity Theological College holds 27th graduation ceremony
DIMAPUR — Trinity Theological College held its 27th graduation ceremony on Monday, with four students in the Master of Theology (M.Th.) programme and 42 students in the Bachelor of Divinity (BD) programme at its premises in Dimapur.
Speaking on the occasion and emphasising key aspects of the gospel, Rev. Dr. Dolie urged the graduates to embrace their duty to communicate, suffer for, treasure, and guard the gospel, according to a press release.
During the event, awards were given out to students in recognition of their academic excellence and exemplary service. Topuli K Awomi received the Faculty Award for Academic Excellence in M.Th., while Moi-om H Phom was honoured with The Principal Award for Best Disciple in Christian Living in the BD programme.
Tovika Zhimomi was honoured with the Dr. Hokishe Sema Award for Social Service, while K Shing Jacob was recognised with several awards, including the Sumi Baptist Convention Award for Best Sermon, the Ihezhe Zhimo Award for Religion and Society, The Governing Board Award for General Proficiency, and the Church Leaders Fellowship-WSBAK Award for Christian Ministry.
Bhawesh Pradhan was also honoured with several awards, including the Faculty Award for Academic Excellence, the Rev. Dr. Najekhu Award for Scripture Knowledge, and the Ihezhe Zhimo Award for Religion and Society. Kito K Shohe was awarded the Ivulho Shohe Award for Biblical Studies.
During the programme, the governing board chairman, Rev. Dr. Pughoto Sema, also released the annual magazine.
