Dimapur, May 19 (EMN): Trinity School, Kohima, has held a felicitation programme for the successful students of HSLC 2019 batch at the school’s auditorium on May 19.
The school topper Kethono Thorie, who bagged the Top 7th (b) position in the HSLC 2019 examination conducted by the NBSE, was honoured with a meritorious certificate and cash prize. In addition, four students, who secured 80%+, were also honoured along with the other passed out students.
A total of thirty five students appeared the examination and achieved 100% pass.
Two of its alumni namely Tonpha Luklem, who secured the Top 10th position in HSSLC 2019 (Science stream), and Sushma Biswakarma, who secured the Top 7th position in HSSLC 2019 (Commerce stream), also attended the programme as the special guests.
The special guests as well the school topper shared their practical experiences and insights they have encountered while preparing for their various examinations. They also expressed that the support of their teachers and parents played a major role in their success.
They have urged other students to work hard as it is the main ingredient that would convert their efforts into success.
Meanwhile, all the 35 students were officially inducted as members of the Trinity School Alumni Association (TSAA) through the guidance of Dapüzü, who led them in fulfilling the required formalities.
The school’s headmaster, Matthew Tsathong, chaired the programme while the vote of thanks was proposed by Among.
