Kohima, Oct. 26 (EMN): In another major reshuffle in the state’s administration, the state governor has, on Friday, ordered transfer and posting of 22 IAS/IFS/NCS/NSS officers.
A notification issued by the state chief secretary’s office stated that the handing/ taking over of charge are to be completed by November 5.
Principal secretary to the chief minister, EF & CC and DUDA Lhoubeilatuo Kire has been given an additional charge of the Works and Housing (W & H) department while the commissioner and secretary for W & H Bendangkokba Ao was transferred and posted as commissioner and secretary Rural Development; secretary Cooperation department K Libanthung Lotha transferred and posted as secretary W & H; director DUDA KS Anden Konyak transferred and posted as secretary DUDA with ex-officio charge of director DUDA; secretary W & H Lhouchalie Viya transferred and posted as secretary Youth Resources and Sports (YRS) on retirement of commissioner and secretary YRS Anenla S Longchari with effect from Oct. 31; additional secretary Excise Orenpomo Kikonis retained as secretary Excise on retirement of commissioner and secretary KI Yanger with effect from Oct. 31; director Food and Civil Supplies (F & CS) Asangla Imti on promotion is transferred and posted as additional secretary Irrigation and Flood Control (I & FC); joint secretary F & CS Akumla Walling on promotion is retained as additional secretary F & CS; joint secretary YRS Limawabang Jamir transferred and posted as commissioner Excise; commissioner Excise Tarep Imchen is transferred and posted as joint secretary YRS; deputy commissioner (DC) Mokokchung Sachin Jaiswal transferred and posted as joint secretary W & Housing; DC Longleng Tsulise Sangtam transferred and posted as joint secretary School Education; joint secretary School Education Renbonthung Tsopoe transferred and posted as joint secretary Health and Family Welfare; joint secretary H & FW Chinnu Hangsing transferred and posted as joint secretary Veterinary and Animal Husbandry (V & AH); joint secretary CM Secretariat T Wati Aier transferred and posted as director F & CS; joint secretary CS office Polan John transferred and posted as joint secretary Rural Development; and joint secretary Economics and Statistics (designate) Imtinokchala Amer is retained as joint secretary Finance.
New deputy commissioners for four districts
The state capital Kohima, Dimapur, Mokokchung and Longleng districts will be administered by new deputy commissioners from November next. This was contained in the same order regarding the transfer and posting of 22 IAS/IFS/NCS/NSS officers issued Oct. 26 from the chief secretary’s office.
Additional secretary Social Welfare Gregory Thejawelie has been transferred and posted as DC Kohima while DC Kohima Rajesh Soundararajan has been transferred and posted as DC Mokokchung. Additional secretary Irrigation and Flood Control Kevekha Kevin Zehol was transferred and posted as DC Dimapur and joint secretary V & AH M Shayung Phom has been transferred and posted as DC Longleng.
