Training for polling personnel across Nagaland concludes

DIMAPUR — The 3rd and final phase of training for polling personnel to the Lok Sabha Election 2024 was conducted across Nagaland on Tuesday.

The 3rd and final phase of training for polling personnel in Tuensang was held at GHSS auditorium, wherein the additional deputy commissioner (ADC) of Tuensang, Thungchanbemo Tungoe, in his brief speech, instructed the polling personnel to follow procedures on polling day including handling of EVM.

He called upon the polling officers to coordinate among themselves for peaceful conduct of elections.

In a similar programme, the third and final round of training for polling personnel for Peren district was held at multi-utility stadium of All Saint’s School campus in Peren town on Tuesday.

During the training, some important procedures which are to be followed at the booth on the poll day were explained to the trainees by the master trainers.

Additionally, the trainees also received hands-on training on EVM and VVPAT.

Report stated that the deputy commissioner (DC) and district election officer (DEO) of Peren along with ADC and ARO of Tening and AEO of Peren were present during the training.
