Training for political parties held in Tuensang

Dimapur, Feb. 8 (EMN): Election monitoring cells including election expenditure monitoring cell, media certification and monitoring committee and model code of conduct experts, and master trainers on EVM and VVPAT conducted training for political parties and its agents in the DC’s conference hall, Tuensang, on February 8.
Senior treasury officer, nodal office for the cell, Imti Chang, conducted the training on election expenditure monitoring, while the DPRO and nodal officer for MCMC, Tialemba, trained the participants on MCMC norms.
Graduate teacher of GHSS, Thangjam, HP Gupta impressed upon the participants on the model code of conduct and the master trainers on the administration, procedure and hand training of EVM and VVPAT machines.
Deputy Commissioner, Tuensang, L Jamithung Lotha had briefed the gathering about the training.
