Dimapur, Oct. 23 (EMN): The Dimapur district administration has issued an order with regard to the deplorable condition of the Nagarjan bridge.
The district administration has said that in view of the partial restoration of the approach road to the Nagarjan bridge by PWD (R&B), a regulated a single lane traffic for light vehicles is allowed to traverse through the bridge. However, there are certain conditions: the executive engineer of PWD (R&B) Dimapur should monitor the bridge and take precautionary measures daily.
"He shall also inform the undersigned as and when closure of traffic requires," the DC stated.
Besides, the district administration stated that traffic police personnel should be deployed in the bridge round the clock for traffic regulation.
