Tourism deparment announces Chümoukedima logo and tagline contest

DIMAPUR — Nagaland Tourism, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism’s Swadesh Darshan 2.0, has announced the Chümoukedima Tourism Logo and Tagline Design Competition 2023.

According to a DIPR report, the taglines must be no longer than six words and must be in English only. Participants are to ensure that original tagline phrases are submitted.

Plagiarised submissions, such as those taken directly from existing campaigns and products, will result in disqualification, and the copyright of all taglines submitted under the competition shall lie with the department of Tourism.

For the logos, the designs must be at least 10cm x 10cm and not larger than 21cm x 14.8cm (A5 size) in landscape orientation. There must be three variations of each logo—two distinct colour options and a third in black and white.

Participants are to ensure that original logos are submitted and logos generated using generative art tools such as Midjourney or Stable Diffusion will result in disqualification. The logos may be designed on a digital platform such as MS Paint, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Procreate, Adobe Photoshop, etc.

In such a case, the logo must be in high resolution, and the quality must not be less than 300 DPI to avoid blurring and pixelation.

Further, logos should be usable on digital platforms such as websites and social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram, as well as printed promotional material such as brochures, magazines, hoardings, leaflets, souvenirs, etc.

The winning entries will be published on the official Nagaland Tourism website, social media pages, and local newspapers. The winners will also receive a digital certificate.

Interested participants can submit their entries by mail to chumusd2@gmail.com, mentioning their full name, age, mobile number, residential address, and profession or student details. The submission deadline is December 31, 5 pm.
