WOKHA — TotPro Play School was inaugurated at Saron Colony, Wokha town, on Tuesday by Vineet Kumar, Deputy Commissioner of Wokha.
TotPro Play School is a Delhi-based franchise that adopts educational structures from Finland, Singapore, Japan, Germany, the US, the UK and India, offering a curated curriculum focused on smart teaching methods and play-based learning for toddlers.
Speaking at the inaugural programme, Kumar lauded the vision and dedication behind establishing a competitive and performing school in the district. He emphasised that foundational education plays a vital role in shaping a child’s long-term growth and appreciated the opportunity it provides for both children and parents.
He expressed optimism that with experienced administrators and staff, the school would become a centre for nurturing young minds, while wishing the institution success in its journey ahead.

K Edward Ngullie, President of the All Nagaland Private Schools' Association (ANPSA) Wokha unit, acknowledged the challenges of running a school and stressed the need for dedication and determination to achieve excellence. He remarked that education is the key to producing a skilled workforce and commended the proprietors and management for their initiative in setting up a strong foundation for learning.
The programme began with a dedication prayer by Rev. Khonbemo P. Kikon, former executive secretary of LBCA, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony by Vineet Kumar.
In an interaction, T Thungchibemo Lotha, Administrator and Headmaster of TotPro Play School, informed that the school management has a long-term vision to upgrade the institution to higher levels in the near future. He shared that the school began with fewer than ten students for the academic year but expressed determination to provide quality education, prioritising practical excellence over business orientation.
He stated that the school has set a benchmark of a maximum of 30 students per classroom, with a focus on delivering standard and quality education.
