Total restriction of movements from Chathe to Khuokhi River Bridge for 22 hrs.

Dimapur, Nov. 13 (EMN): The deputy commissioner of Dimapur, Rajesh Siundararajan, has informed through a circular that there will be total restriction of all movements from Chathe River Bridge (Patkai Bridge) to Khuokhi River Bridge (Kukidolong) from 7 am on November 15 (Sunday) till 5 am on November 16 (Monday) to facilitate the four-lane road construction works and in the interest of public safety.

“The restriction is necessitated to facilitate speedy completion of works and as a precautionary measure to prevent any injury, loss of life and damage to property,” read the notification.

“The general public may take the alternative route from Dimapur-Kohima/Kohima-Dimapur for light vehicles only via 7th Mile-New DC office-Shokhuvi-Razaphe-Mhaikam-Pimla-Mhainamtsi-Jhornapani/Medziphema and vice versa,” it added.
