Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War offers a lot of guns to use in the game and each player will find a certain gun that suits their play style. Some players would like to rock a fully kitted out assault rifle while some may prefer three-round burst weapons. That being said, there are some top tier guns in the game that are simply broken right now.
This sub-machine gun (SMG) is the best gun in the game right now and a true fan favourite. It is simply broken in close-quarters combat (CQB) situations. It also boasts the second-best time to kill (TTK) among full-auto SMGs. It has a highly controllable recoil, great handling attributes and an excellent fire-rate which makes it a very versatile weapon to use. Make sure to use attachments that will increase the bullet velocity since this is one area where the MP5 isn’t great at.
This burst-fire rifle has the ability to dish out high damage in a relatively short amount of time. The AUG shares similar attributes with another burst-fire rifle, M16 but it is a better weapon than the M16 because it has a shorter burst delay, better recoil and offers a better range. This weapon has the best TTK value out of any other weapon in the game with the ability to shred opponents in just one burst. In the hands of a good player, this weapon will dominate most multiplayer matches. However, in CQB situations this gun may not be able to perform optimally like other SMGs or assault rifles.
This SMG boasts one of the fastest TTK values among all other full-auto SMGs in the game. It also has excellent bullet velocity attributes that make it a versatile weapon to engage both CQB and long-range targets. However, the AK47U does not have the best aim down sights (ADS) traits among other weapons in the SMG category. So, make sure to use attachments that will reduce the ADS of the weapon if you are planning to rock it in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
If you are an assault rifle user then the AK-47 is simply the best assault rifle in the game right now. It has excellent base attributes and is a formidable weapon for mid to long-range fights. However, it has a slow fire-rate and does not have good ADS attributes. Players rocking AK-47s might be on a disadvantage in CQB situations especially if the opponent is using an SMG. Make sure to use attachments that will reduce the ADS and increase the bullet velocity.
This semi-automatic rifle boasts good attributes like high damage, high bullet velocity and excellent handling. The Type 63 has the ability to quickly decimate enemies thanks to the accuracy and high damage of the weapon. This is a rifle that can handle mid to long-range engagements but may not be the best weapon for CQB. Make sure to use attachments that will improve your fire-rate significantly if you are planning to use this weapon in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
