Valve recently shared the top 20 games that Steam Deck users played the most during February. The list includes a mix of both new and older games that are playable on the handheld gaming console.
Steam Deck, which was released just over a year ago, quickly became popular with PC gamers as the device can play an impressive catalogue of PC titles. Valve has certainly put a lot of developmental work into making the device compatible with popular PC titles. The Steam Deck currently supports over 7,000 games including newer titles like Dead Space 2023 remake, Hi-Fi Rush, and Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition.

Valve took to Twitter to inform its users of the most popular games on Steam Deck based on total playtime. February’s list was headed by Hogwarts Legacy, which was released on February 10, with other 2022 releases like Elden Ring, Vampire Survivors, and the PC rerelease of Persona 5 Royal also featured. The list also includes older titles like Stardew Valley, Grand Theft Auto V, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition.

Steam Deck’s success can be credited to its affordability, portability, and most notably, its extensive collection of games. This is, perhaps, the best indication of the amount of work the developers have put in to optimise their games for the platform.
