Dimapur, Nov. 5 (EMN): Minister of Housing and Mechanical (PWD), Tongpang Ozukum, on Saturday inaugurated the PWD rental housing units Phase III and V at PWD Rental Housing Complex in Dimapur.
The minister congratulated and thanked the officials of PWD (Housing) for continuously monitoring and supervising the work and the contractors for the successfully completing the project on time.
He also thanked the government of Nagaland for allotting funds to come up with such developmental infrastructure not only in Dimapur but in other districts as well, an update stated.
He also asked the department officials to give serious efforts and to protect the land from encroachers while at the same time to come up with innovative ideas for creation of infrastructures utilising new technologies which will be cost effective as well as less time consuming.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Tsongtsa H Khiamniungan, SDO-II PWD (H) while the dedicatory prayer was offered by Imnatoshi Lkr, Mission Director, DABA.
A technical report was presented by I Tiameren, Chief Engineer, PWD(H),while a short speech was delievered by Landmark Colony Chairman, S Bendang Ao and vote of thanks by Nitoli Sema, EE,PWD(H), Dimapur division.
