Tongpang inaugurates community hall in Yaongyimti
Dimapur, Nov. 9 (EMN): Minister of PWD (Housing and Mechanical), Tongpang Ozukum, inaugurated a newly constructed community hall in Yaongyimti (Old) village under Mokokchung district on November 9.
Speaking at the inaugural programme, Ozukum remarked that community hall was a much needed infrastructure for the village, which he had assured to complete before December 2022. He thanked the Nagaland chief minister for coming up with the concept of creating iconic projects in all the assembly constituencies through which the new community hall in Yaongyimti village could also be constructed.
The minister informed that the community hall project was funded by the state government under Iconic Project and could be completed in seven months time at a cost of INR 25 lakh, stated an update from the press secretary to the minister.
A Kumzuk, GB of Yaongyimti village council, while delivering his speech, thanked the minister and the present government under the chief minister, Neiphiu Rio, for the huge developmental opportunity offered to the village.
The programme was chaired by C Moasenla, youth director, while an invocation prayer was pronounced by C Anungla, associate pastor. Nungshimangyang, president of NDPP 24 Angetyongpang AC presented the community hall construction report and pastor, R Moa, said the benediction.
The minister was accompanied by 24 Angetyonglang CEB members, region officials and other assembly constituency unit leaders.
