Kisama, Dec. 9 (EMN): Tokupu Sumi won the title of Naga Chef Season-9 and received INR 2 lakh after the grand finale held at the Amphitheater in Kisama on Friday.
Runners-up were Keneilhoubei-ü Kense and Kazusangba Jamir. They received gift hampers.
A total of seven participants competed for the coveted titled of Naga Chef Season-9 which starts from 10 am every day.
Organised by the Synergy Group, the Naga chef is held annually as part of the Hornbill Festival. Participants were judged according to various rounds including cooking skills, childhood memories, innovation round, just desserts, my Naga Thali and the grand finale.
Judges of the Naga Chef Season 9 were Rovi Chasie, Alemjungla Jamir,
Nuneseno Chase, and Chef Joel Basumatari. The guest judge was Chef Gary Mehigan.
