Subject: Appeal for early release of compensation under SDRF for the year 2020-2021 in Mokokchung District
Respected Sir,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention the pending release of compensation under the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) for the year 2020-2021 for the Mokokchung District.
The Deputy Commissioner submitted the SDRF application forms for Mokokchung District on 25th August 2021, and these were received by the Home Department on 18th November 2021. Despite the passage of a significant amount of time, there has been no communication or update regarding the status of these applications. A total of 208 application forms were submitted, distributed across the following areas:
1. Mokokchung Sadar – 5 2. Ongpangkong – 177 3. Tuli – 4 4.Chuchuyimlang – 12 5. Kolupong – 1 6. Longchem – 1 7.Alongkima – 1 8. Changtongya – 7 Total: 208
Given the critical nature of these funds for disaster relief and management, we respectfully request the urgent release of the compensation. Timely disbursement is essential for addressing the immediate needs and recovery efforts of the affected individuals and communities.
