DIMAPUR — TIA KI – Nagaland Art Space is presenting ‘Flower Moon: May Special’, a week-long art exhibition featuring artists from Nagaland, in Dimapur from May 2 to the 9th.
According to an update, the exhibition ushers in the month of May with themes of fertility, motherhood, renewal, and new beginnings through contemporary artistic expression, bringing together creative professionals across disciplines such as poetry, spoken word, textiles, drapery, dance, and performance into a broader creative discourse.

The opening on May 1, 2026, featured Flower Moon, a performance art piece written by Anungla Zoe Longkumer.
The spoken word poetry was translated into movement and performance by Virieno Christina Zakiesato, movement artist and ballet teacher, and Carol Humstoe, fashion model and performance artist. Both performers wore heirloom and contemporary woven cloths styled and draped by multidisciplinary artist Imchatsung Imchen.

Speaking about the event, Anungla, artist and founder-curator at TIA KI, shared: “This is a beautiful result of artist friends coming together because we felt inspired to tell a story that is meaningful to us and express that in our own creative ways.”
The spoken word poetry, both conceptual and physical, is written in two parts: Mother and Sister. While the first part is a tribute to Mother Earth, the latter pays homage to the original maker of cloth, the weaver, in a nod to The Sü Archive of heirloom textile reproductions by KINTEM, alongside statement looks from the label’s latest collection, FORME (French for “form”).
There are 12 participating artists and brands, including KINTEM, Hues of Hills, Smallshop by Jason Anshu, Famous Letterpress, Tanemi Pottery Studio, Hut Craft Candles, Flower of the Hills, Akangsenep Jamir, Ari Amer, and Kumti LCR, with food and ferments by Naga Bowl and Infinity Organic.
