Three Ulfa cadres surrender in Mon

Superintendent of police, Mon, along with the Assam counterparts during the handing over of surrendered Ulfa cadres in Mon town on October 12.

Dimapur, Oct. 13 (EMN): Three cadres from the United Liberation Front of Asom (Independent) surrendered to the village guards at Monyakshu in Mon district on October 11.

An update from the village guards PRO informed that the three surrendered cadres were identified as ‘self-styled ’ pvt Kunal Asom (32) alias Chandan Das from Goalpara Shastri Nagar village in Goalpara district, ‘ss’ CPL Rucma Asom (40) alais Ranjit Neog from Kanchujam Goan in Tinsukia district, and ‘ss’ pvt Lasi Asom (25) alais Rajib Gogoi from Nojubuka village in Charadeo district.

The update further added that the surrendered cadres were handed over to Charaideo (Assam) district police on October 13 by the superintendent of police, Mon, in the presence of representatives from the village guard and district administration.
