Three projects inaugurated in Pfutsero

Kohima, Dec. 11 (EMN): Minister of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Neiba Kronu along with Class-I Contractor Vilelie Khamo inaugurated three major projects in Pfutsero sub-division under Phek district on December 11.
The projects included local ground Kami (Kadie), inter-state road connectivity from Pfutsero to Tadubi (Tebupfu) and multi-purpose indoor stadium, Pfutsero.
Speaking at the inauguration of multi-purpose hall in Pfutsero, Kronu voiced that early settlement of the vexed Naga political issue will be best for Naga people. In the event if the solution is not achieved before the election, Kronu has affirmed to support the clean election campaign initiated by Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) and the Chakhesang Baptist Church Council (CBCC).
The minister has also regretted the political instability, which has stalled the development activities and created hardship for the general populace.
With many developmental projects including roads and infrastructure initiated by him under Pfutsero Assembly Constituency, he has sought the support of the people during the next state assembly elections to bring about better development.
He also appreciated the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways for providing fund for the inter-state road and North Eastern Council for the multi-purpose hall. The minister also lauded the quality works carried out by the contractor of the road Vilelie Khamo.
Contractor Vilelie Khamo, who also accompanied the minister, has appreciated the unity displayed by the people of the area towards smooth and timely completion of the road projects without any hindrance.
Khamo constructed the Nagaland side of the Inter-State road from Pfutsero to Khezakeno, covering a distance of 25 kms at the cost of INR 3869.34 lakh.
