Three persons arrested with heroin

Dimapur, Feb. 24 (EMN): Personnel of Narcotic Cell Police Station (CID) manning a narcotic checkpoint at Khuzama intercepted a Maruti A-Star car and recovered 20 soap cases of suspected heroin weighing 220 gram each on February 23.

Superintendent of Police (Crime) and PRO, PHQ Nagaland, three persons identified as Hengul Lhouvum (37) from Molhoi Leimakhong village in Senapati, Holminthang Baite (30) from N Terakhong Laikoiching village in Senapati, and TS Haolensei Baite (18) from N Terakhong village in Senapati were arrested.

Report added that a case in this connection has been registered for further investigation.
