Three new Covid-19 cases detected in Nagaland

Dimapur, Jan. 10 (EMN):
Nagaland recorded three new Covid-19 positive cases on Sunday, taking the state’s tally to 11978.

This was informed by the minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

‘Three positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today (Sunday); Dimapur, Kohima and Mokokchung one each,’ tweeted the minister.

According to the information provided by the Health department, Nagaland has 115 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 93 are asymptomatic, 12 mild, five moderate on oxygen, one severe on oxygen and four on Critical-ICU. The state has also recorded 11639 recoveries and 84 deaths, out of which 10 are ‘not Covid-related’.

In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 65 cases, followed by Kohima-32, Mokokchung-10, Peren-5 and one each in Kiphire, Longleng and Mon, while Tuensang, Wokha, Phek and Zunheboto have zero cases.
