Dimapur, March 17 (EMN): A three-day prayer summit of the All Nagaland Prayer House and Prayer Centre (ANPH&PC) on the theme ‘He made known His way to Moses, His deed to the people of Israel’ (Psalm 103:7) culminated on March 17 evening with Dachu Chuzo from New Hope Prayer Centre, Pfutsero, as chairperson and Jenithung Shitiri, director of ACF Dimapur, as the speaker.
The Sunday service was led by Renthungo Ezung, pastor of Faith in Action Prayer Centre, Dimapur, and Yangulie Sanchu, pastor of NCRC PR Hill, Kohima, was the speaker.
Sanchu, in his sermon, called all believers to come near the Lord for His everlasting grace and blessing and to receive the holy spirit. He warned the prayer house and prayer centre not to be self centred but to take the challenge of the Lord and to be humble to serve the needy. He added that all believers attached to the prayer house should be physically fit and have self control.
He delivered sermon on 1 Corinth 12:14.
Special songs were also presented by Call of God Ministry, Kohima, and Lotha female voice, Wokha town.
Hundreds of believers from various Christian denominations attended the Sunday service. N Tsenyimo Humtsoe, convenor of Lotha Prayer Centre, Wokha, presented in brief about the establishment and activities of Lothatsu Prayer House, Zutanphen, Wokha town.
Vezokho Vero, pastor of Naga Shisha Hoho Prayer Centre, Purzie, Kohima, in his exhortation, called all prayer groups to pray for the unity of Naga nation. Stating that there are more than 200 prayer houses and prayer centres in the state alone, he was optimistic that prayer for the Naga unity will not go in vain.
N Tsenyimo Humtsoe, convenor of Lotha Prayer Centre, Zutanphen, Wokha town, also spoke briefly about Lothatsu Prayer Centre, host of the prayer summit. He further thanked all the delegates, well-wishers and believers for their support and participation in making the programme a successful.
