Three arrested with cough syrup in Kohima

Dimapur, May 16 (EMN): Kohima police, during routine checking of vehicles on National Highway-29 intercepted a Maruti 800 car bearing registration no. AS06C 1949 and recovered 400 bottles of cough syrup along with three cases of MC Rum on May 14 at around 11 am.

A police report issued by the PRO of DEF Kohima stated that three occupants of the car were arrested and registered under relevant sections of the law. The arrested persons were identified as Enato Yepthomi (26) of Aghunato village in Zunheboto district, H Paul Aniche (32) of Viyixe village in Zunheboto district, and Kekong Yim (39) of Huker village in Tuensang district.
