Third Nagaland Street Fitness held

Dimapur, March 5 (EMN): Native Station organised the 3rd edition of the Nagaland Street Fitness on March 4 at the Heritage, Raj Bhavan, Kohima supported by NSACS (Nagaland State Aids Control Society) multimedia campaign, Tribal Group and Active Station. IMG_4192[1]Fitness enthusiasts from Kohima and other districts participated in the event which witnessed the strongest, fastest and fittest men and women compete in Running Race, Speed Race (Naga Flash), Arm Wrestling and Push Ups to win the Nagaland Street Fitness Title which wIMG_4197[2]as sponsored by Tribal Group, Gravity, Active Station, The Hub, Star Mart, Flex Appeal Gym, Nike, Reebok, Adidas, Skechers, Decibel Sound System. Beat-boxing stars, Zonimong and Athozo enthralled the audience with their beat-boxing skills. Winners were presented with merchandise and gift vouchers worth more than Rs.35,000 along with certificate and medals. Metevinuo Sakhrie, NSACS Joint Director (IEC) gave away the prizes and also challenged the youths to live life responsibly and become ambassadors for the cause of HIV/AIDS in the state.
