DIMAPUR — Rev. G Everest, a former faculty of Eastern Bible College (EBC) has called upon the theologians for evangelism around the world to win lost souls.
Rev. Everest stated this on the second day of a three-day golden jubilee celebration of the Eastern Bible College on Saturday held at the chapel hall on the theme “Great is thy faithfulness.”
He informed that former graduates of EBC are working not only in Northeast region but across the world. While recalling his student life in the college with fond memories, Rev. Everest stated that he was sent to different places for evangelism.
Exhorting the gathering that “God is faithful and it is wonderful to serve him and a marvelous experience,” he also encouraged the students who are in the ministry to work hard to win lost souls.
Also speaking at the programme, Sao Sangtam, president of Jesus Seeks Ministry, stressed on the need to engage in the ministry. He regretted that the fire of God in every church is becoming lesser in the modern world.
“Every Christian should have their salvation assurance while on earth,” he said.
Roland T Ngullie, pastor of Senjum Baptist Church, Dimapur, in his exhortation, shared experiences of his student’s life at EBC. He encouraged that they are called differently to serve the people.
Rev. N Pahino, president of NCRC and former faculty, was the speaker of the evening session, wherein he called upon the students to follow the footsteps of their pioneers.
The principal of Servanthood Bible College, Moa Jamir, shared the jubilee greetings.
The service was attended by believers and ministry workers from different churches. Songs were performed by the jubilee choir, Servanthood Bible College and AG Church of Lama Basti.
