As a student, I'm fed up with the pathetic state of our roads. Our state is known for its stunning natural beauty and rich cultural heritage, but the roads, including highways, are an absolute disaster. We're paying a whopping 18% GST, and yet, our roads are in shambles. Where is our money going?

It's infuriating to see students struggling to attend classes due to roads riddled with landslides and potholes. The situation is so bad that landslides have become makeshift skating rinks, and potholes filled with rainwater turn into fishing ponds. It's a joke. The contractors who took the money can't even fix a simple road. Are they incompetent or just here to put on a show?

The public's silence is deafening. Do we even care about how our roads are being built? Every year, the same cycle repeats itself – landslides, temporary fixes, and then the same mess again. Students commuting to colleges in areas like Piphema, Phesama, Jakhama, etc, face unimaginable struggles. Our roads are like a battlefield, and we're just cannon fodder. Why do our road conditions get worse every year? Is it a lack of funds or sheer incompetence? The government can't claim ignorance; they know what's happening. So, are they intentionally making us suffer or just don't care?

It's time for the government to take responsibility. We need better roads, and we need them now. The contractors need to be held accountable, and the government needs to ensure that the tax money is being used effectively.

To the government, I say: wake up and smell the coffee. Our roads are a reflection of your failure. We're not asking for much; we just want safe and decent roads. Is that too much to ask? The people of Nagaland deserve better. It's time for change. Let's raise our voices and demand better roads. We won't be silenced anymore.

Nagaland's roads are a disaster, and it's time for the government to take action. We're tired of being treated like second-class citizens. We deserve better roads, and we'll fight for them. The government needs to wake up and take responsibility for the state of our roads. It's time for change, and it's time now.
